We forge partnerships between neighbors who use technology to improve interactions with, and access to, public services. Whether you're a technologist, designer, journalist, public servant, or curious community member- there is a place for you here! Join us for our co-working, project, service, and social events.

Work with us

Code for Chicago runs on two things: projects and volunteers.

Organizations

Are you a Chicagoland nonprofit that needs some tech help? Have an idea how to make your community better? You've come to the right place. Fill out our Contact Us form or come to one of our meetups to get the conversation started.

Volunteers

Are you a Chicagoland dev, designer, data person, etc. looking to use your skills for the greater good and build your resume? Maybe you’re looking to pick up a new tech skill. You, too, have come to the right place. Sign up for our meetups or join us on Slack.
